DMCA Copyright Policy

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) compliance procedures and designated agent details.

1. Copyright Policy Statement

MHTC (Multi-Holistic Therapy Center) respects the intellectual property rights of authors, creators, educators, and software engineers. We comply fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA"). It is our policy to respond promptly to clear, valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.

3. Requirements for a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), a valid DMCA notice must include the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed, with information reasonably sufficient to permit MHTC to locate the material (e.g. specific URL).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit MHTC to contact the complaining party (name, address, telephone number, email address).
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If material you posted on MHTC has been removed due to a DMCA takedown notice and you believe the removal was a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Agent. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, MHTC will forward a copy to the original complaining party.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, MHTC maintains a strict policy to terminate user access or block content from repeat infringers under appropriate circumstances.
